The club welcomes junior members, providing that they have a relationship with their dog The Kennel Club offers special classes for juniors at some of the shows How old does my dog need to be? The club does not take dogs until they are 12 months old – however we do occasionally run puppy agility lessons – that ensure that the basics are taught to young dogs However, we do suggest you register your interest as soon as possible even if the dog is not old enough, since the waiting list is long How much does it cost to join and train at NDDAC? The Kennel Club regulations which we follow say your dog has to be 12 months old before it starts to train agility This is due to the heavy physical strains which are put on your dogs joints and therefore the dog needs to be fully grown How do I join? In a way you are unfortunate in that agility is a very popular sport and therefore the demand is high The NDDAC therefore have a waiting list which you will need to add yourself too This can be done by emailing your details Here Once there is space for more dogs and handlers in the club, we'll take on people from this list So if you are interested, get yourself on the list now!
